JACKs PSYCHOMETRIC ASSESSMENT 7th August, 2014

Age 6 year 5 months

ASSESSMENT RESULTS

Full Scale Score (FSIQ)

The Full Scale score is derived from the combination of the Verbal Comprehension, Perceptual Reasoning, Working Memory, and Processing Speed scores. The WISC–IV Full Scale score is one way to view Jack’s overall thinking and reasoning skills.

Jack was administered ten subtests of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fourth Edition – Australian Standardised

Edition (WISC-IV Australian) from which his composite scores are derived. The Full Scale IQ (FSIQ) is derived from a combination of ten subtest scores and is considered the most representative estimate of global intellectual functioning. Jack’s general cognitive ability is within the Low Average range of intellectual functioning, as measured by the FSIQ. His overall thinking and reasoning abilities exceed those of approximately 16% of children his age. There is no real difference between Jack's ability to reason with and without the use of words.
